Mikis Almanov
(Founder of the ARC Group)

Born in Uzbekistan, Mikis spent several years in California studying Construction Management before moving to London in 2009 where he studied Management Accounting
(CIMA).
​
In December 2011, Mikis joined London Student Rent as an intern.
Within a few months he had gained extensive knowledge of the relevant planning laws and EH regulations as well as acquiring invaluable experience in the identification, evaluation, and supervision of project development.
Nine months after joining London Student Rent, Mikis was appointed as a director and played a key role in developing the company’s new strategy and business plan. Within a year, he was made a partner in the newly branded The Collective, a pioneering developer/operator in the co-living sector.
During his time at The Collective, Mikis was part of the development and delivery team of circa 1000 units with a GDV of over £200m, culminating in The Collective Old Oak (546 units) and The Collective Stratford (300 units).
In March of 2014, whilst still retaining shares, Mikis left The Collective, and co-founded the SAV Group.

During his nine-year tenure at the SAV Group, he oversaw the acquisition and development of circa 1200 units with a total GDV of over £350m.

Exiting the SAV Group in June 2023, Mikis formed the ARC Group (Alternative Residential Capital Group)

Through the ARC Group, Mikis remains committed to this rapidly maturing asset class and is utilising his expertise and insight to further develop this sector.
With his leadership position in these groups and his impressive track record of development; from smaller scale HMOs, hotels and care homes to large scale sui generis hostels and student accommodation, Mikis has established a well-earned reputation in the AR sector where his counsel is much sought after.
He is currently a non-executive director of several companies.

Molly worked alongside Mikis at the SAV Group for 3 years, and has more than 6 years of experience in Property and Construction, Fund and Charity sectors.
Helena Liu

Helena began her journey at Shaanxi EKIA Holding Group, where she served as Vice General Manager, overseeing sales and engineering construction across industries like power and environmental protection. She then joined AlphaESS Europe as Chief Representative Officer for Portugal, playing a pivotal role in expanding the company's presence. Now, at ARC Group, Helena brings her wealth of experience and vision to drive growth and innovation. With a successful track record Helena is poised to make significant contributions to our team. Additionally, Helena holds notable positions in various social organizations, including the Portugal-China Economics and Cultural Promotion Association and the Shaanxi Youth Federation.
Mariam Margiani
